My name is Ginevra Molly Weasley, but everyone calls me Ginny. I am eleven years old (twelve in August) and I go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I began writing this diary just before I started my first year at Hogwarts. I was really surprised when it wrote back! It turns out that it was You-Know-Who writing, and he possessed me. Well, not You-Know-Who exactly, because it was a memory from when he was sixteen and they hadn't started calling him that. He was still called Tom then.

I have six brothers and they're all older than me. Bill is working in Egypt at the moment as a curse-breaker for Gringotts (he's the oldest) and Charlie is studying dragons in Romania. Then there's Percy, who does a lot of study and is a prefect. Then there's Fred and George, who are twins, and they play a lot of tricks, and Ron, who's a year older than me.

I wanted to put this diary up on the World Wizarding Network so that people would know what had happened to me. I asked Professor Dumbledore and he said that he thought it was a good idea.

This is not the real diary of Ginny Weasley, and I do not own her in any way. I thought that this would be a fun thing to do. The real person behind all this madness is thenameless1387. Enjoy!
